Somewhat gutted today, I took some photos with my phone, just some local stuff in our park. A new skate park is being built there.
I thought I would share some with the Facebook group. I was able to upload and posted successfully. I decided I would send the remainder to my laptop via Bluetooth.
No chance, I am not able to pair the two together, something about passwords, and or numbers.
Sure, they do see each other, but cannot 'talk' to each other Why me?

Anyway here's the photo I sent, I had to download it from the FB page.

On a somewhat happier note, I took two photos for my Wife. She had just completed a wedding card for an 80yr old couple who are getting married shortly. Here is the card. All hand made.

The necklace she made for a birthday present. Again, hand made

She has several things on the go at the moment. I am more than happy to support her interests, (it helps me with my photography)

OK, it was my intention to take a picture a day.  Not managed that yet, but here is a photo I did take two days ago and processed today...It's a start.

In the back garden: "It's getting no warmer"
I hope to be shooting later this morning, I have a project on, looking for something which may not exist. At least, I will have tried.

Just been looking back to may 30 last year. I was talking about editing using Elements 10. Well, two weeks ago I splashed out on Elements 14, basically the same program, but with added extras. The layout is a tad different, but that's all easy to use and all I need in a program. Te downside is I do not have Photozoom  in 14, so, any extra work will be done on 10, a minor inconvenience but it'll do me

I took delivery yesterday of a set of lenses by "Victsing" for my phone, Fish-eye, Macro X 12 and macro X 24. The X 24 screws onto the X 12 increasing magnification vastly. It's taking some practice to work this one out, but I'll get there. I have yet to try the fish-eye. I am also looking to get a telephoto, and maybe a wide angle lens some time in the future, but there is no rush for these.
£18 inc'delivery
04:00 this morning I took this with my mobile (cellphone to some of you). Not a brilliant photo but it makes the point

The fish at Mercia marina take no prisoners.

I could not resist this when out walking with the group.

New year, new start

New program.
I recently brought Photoshop Elements 14 and was invited to join 'Click It Up a Notch' on Facebook, there is also a link to Courtney Slazinik https://plus.google.com/+CourtneySlazinik the owner of 'Click it up a Notch' I have scanned both sites and I am also following her on Google+. A free e-book is on offer, also I found a second e-book in her various pages. It is too soon to make further comments as it is early hours as yet.

I have also joined the 'Adobe Photoshop Elements' Facebook page. Having used Elements 10 for a year or two now, I thought it about time I up-graded to a later version. I have struggled with certain aspects of editing but now I am aware of the Facebook page, & I know I have a contact to follow.

I have several ideas from these pages, one is to take a challenge of a 30 day shoot, one photo a day.
There maybe problems with timing etc. so it is something I need to look into both in theme(s) and time of day/night and maybe locations.

I now need to break a New Year resolution I made over 60 yrs ago...Never make another resolution. The new one is to take the 30 day challenge (I might even post them on here as proof).
