Although Carol was 70 7th January we celebrated on the 10th at a pub in Burton-on-Trent, the "Burton Bridge Inn" we hired the skittle alley for the evening. Somewhere around 35 or so guests were there, 5 were not able to turn up on health grounds or other reasons. Due to fire regulations, the maximum number of guests is 40. A lot of us spent the evening standing due to lack of seats, but this did not stop the enjoyment. The skittles went down well (well, some did) with everyone, teams were organised and medals and cups were provided for the winners (thanks to a local £ shop) the food was first rate and not a lot was left. I can not remeber such a god birthday party we had family, friends from various groups such as Crafting, Facebook Photography group, and neighbours.
